Good riddance. I sold it over the weekend. Maybe I’ll try again in a few generations. But for now, my eyes are set on a new MacBook Pro. Sexy!
Why the MacBook Air isn’t made for me:
1. Battery life did not live up to what was advertised.
2. Full recharge can take upwards of 8 hours.
3. Remote Disc is a nightmare.
4. It was thin, but that doesn’t mean ultra portable like the Asus Eee. However, I did appreciate the 13.3″ screen and the full-size keyboard.
5. 80 gigs? Come on.
6. Not made for heavy graphic design/photography use.
No doubt, there were plenty of perks (fully illuminated keyboard? So cool.), but it’s just not what I need.

I do heaps of un-smart things. I think it is time to start compiling a list of my greatest hits.
1. Starting long-term tasks at ungodly hours of the night. For example, yesterday, around 3 a.m., I decided it would be a good time to install Mac OS X Leopard onto my MacBook. Needless to say, I found myself passing out around 5 a.m. while waiting for the installation to complete. I woke up at 9 a.m to find that the computer was frozen on a blank blue screen. Getting tired of rebooting after 50 attempts, I resorted to manually running the computer and deleting X number of files (mostly preferences, bundles, et cetera) in order to get it to work.
2. Letting technology rule me.Blackberries, cameras, computers, oh my! It’s almost as if there is no living second when I am not staring into an illuminated screen.
